Hello!

My name is Leandro Azevedo, I'm from Portugal and I'm currently studying Civil Engineering at University of Minho

I've always had a interest and ability on many kind of crafting works; there is one however, in which I highlighted: the art of knotting strings, wich is known by many names like Scoubidou, Scoubi, Boondoggle, or rex-lace

I met this kind of works when I was 17, at school; back then it was used to create keychains and bracelets. I tried it out too, and soon i began to create my own ideas and applying them on other materials

Later i decided to create a blog to show my works, Grande Fio, and after that created the english version of it, the one you are currently reading. I've also created their respective Facebook pages...
